According to a recent Ars Technica post, "the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) has decided to mimic the efforts of its music industry counterpart and put pressure on universities to curb student piracy." They are sending out a letter that warns of the potential loss of student aid if institutions don't combat the unauthorized distribution of copyrighted material by users of their network.
